METODIC Project 1st Study visit in Greece – at UNIWA (Greece) 25-27/2/2025
The 1st study visit of METODIC Project carried out with great success at the premises of University of West Attica, from 25 to 28 February 2025. Academic staff from Sub-Saharan Africa universities, which participate to the project consortium attended the training by Industrial Design and Production Engineering Academic staff. Issues like the following were presented:
- Mapping Sustainable and Circular Pathways
- Collaboration schemes between academic institutions and industry
- Align academic programmes with industry needs-
- Collaboration with industry
- Sustainable Textiles
- Production of Textile Fibers with Peach and Wastewater Recycling
- Collaboration with Companies – DO! and Tex is More
Except of the training, the participatns visited Benaki Museum (Mentis/Antonopoulos “NEMA” department) and SOFFA factory.
The 1st project meeting of METODIC project took place on 27/2/2025, were the partner representatives discussed and made decisions for subjects like the project outputs administration, the dissemination and communication strategy and project website.
All the before-mentioned activities of METODIC project completed with great success.
