Laboratory Teaching Staff
Ioannis Chronis is a Laboratory Teaching Staff at the School of Engineering of the University of West Attica. He is a Chemical Engineer with Postgraduate studies in Telematics Management from Donau Universitat Krems (Austria) and in Studies in Education from the Hellenic Open University. He has over 30 years of professional and educational experience as a Chemical Engineer, both in the private and public sector. His research interests focus on Eco-Design, Electrochemistry and Smart Materials with emphasis on coated and smart textile materials, innovative and environmentally friendly methods and materials for environmental protection, as well as Occupational Health and Safety. He has been a member of the Laboratory since 2006 and has participated in many National and European projects (Marie Curie, Erasmus+ KA2, Tempus, Leonardo da Vinci, etc.). He has more than 30 papers and presentations at international conferences and peer-reviewed journals.
