Group of students and Professors from Oklahoma State University visit the IDPE at UNIWA

On Thursday 19/5/2022 we had the pleasure to welcome to our Department a group of 33 students and 3 accompanying professors from Oklahoma State University. The purpose of their visit was to see the premises of the University of West Attica and more specifically of the Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering.

The group was welcomed by the Professors of the Department, G. Priniotakis, M. Papoutsidakis and F. Azariadis, who presented to them the University, the activities of the Department, as well as actions of specific European Erasmus + KA2 projects, that have as object the European Footwear Industry. The presentation was also attended by Mr. Roger Vrechopoulos, President of the Hellenic Association of Craftsmen – Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters and Mr. Meletis Karabinis, on behalf of the Association of Manufacturers of Ready-made Garments.
