GAGE event (interactive presentation) at the premises of Industrial Design and Production Engineering Department (UNIWA) on 20/5/2024
“GAGE” project refers to a common activity of Saint Mary of the Woods College (USA) and University of West Attica in the framework of a Greek and American Gender Equality Program.
In the frame of GAGE project, an interactive presentation of the case studies took place at the premises of UNIWA and more specifically at Industrial Design and Production Engineering Department laboratories on 20/5/2024. Six PhD candidates and post-doctoral students from the Industrial Design and Production Engineering Department of UNIWA together with six students from SMWC College, (Indiana, US) presented their case studies, which were implemented very successfully. Academic staff of the two Universities, students and Phd candidates participated to the event.
Except of the before-mentioned activity, discussions for future collaborations and informing of the participants about the MSc programs and European projects are implemented by the DIKNIGA lab took place.
More specifically, it was done a brief presentation of

- TEX4FUTURE project (Textile manufacturing for the Future in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan”
- TECHTEX- Development of technical textiles’ skills for the Moroccan textile industry
