Laboratory Teaching Staff – Phd candidate
Anastasios Tzerachoglou is Laboratory Teaching staff in the Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering, Faculty of Engineering (UNIWA, Greece). He is a Computer Systems Engineer with postgraduate studies in Telematics (Telecommunications and Informatics) Management (graduated with distinction).
His research interests are in pervasive computing, complex digital entities, cyborgs, cyber-physical systems, smart garments, wearable sensors, symbiotic environments and sustainability. Experienced in the design and implementation of infrastructures and setups for the realization of synchronous and asynchronous tele-education. Experienced in the development and organization of e-learning environments. Introduced and implemented a hybrid education model in the course/laboratory of Telematics (Department of Automation Engineering) since the late 1990s. He has participated in numerous research projects both nationally and internationally.
He is a founding member and auditor of International Association for eScience (IAFeS), and ex General Secretary of European Association for Telematic Applications (ΕΑΤΑ).
